Presented at MOCA Geffen Warehouse on November 19 -20th, 2021, HIVE RISE reemerges in a site-specific staging composed and performed by Ash Fure and directed and choreographed by LILLETH.

HIVE RISE is a sonic training ground. An opera of protocols for bodies in sound. 15 performers. Sub-audible subwoofers. 3D-printed megaphones. Neoprene plinths. It’s a physical encounter with sound. You’re in it, and you are it. Bodies move in formation around you. Air is thick with pulsations, durations. Everyone present is made complicit. Is in it and is it. Exposed. Enmeshed. Togetherness training through tactical listening, calibrating toward the storm(s).
